The Director's Cut has a noticeable resolution increase over the 1080p/60fps PS4 edition from 2015/17 and provides a very 4K-like image (the internal resolution could potentially be slightly lower). There is also improved graphical settings like textures/GI etc. However, these changes are less noticeable in general gameplay as opposed to direct comparisons. The real selling point is the additional localizations, cutscenes and Red Light Raid mode etc.
