While both Pro and base PS5 target 60fps, this is very rarely achieved as Pro is usually at around 55fps, and base PS5 is at 53fps. Both consoles are therefore perfectly fine for VRR screens, but won't come close to running smoothly on non-VRR screens. Fortunately, both consoles resolve a sharp, 4K-looking image. Pro's internal resolution is slightly higher before upscaling though, resulting in less aliasing on the edges of picture frames/shadows etc.
