Despite releasing in 2026, EGG has confirmed a surprising amount about the Pro version via the PlayStation Blog. There will be a Pro exclusive 'enhanced mode' that utilizes PSSR to achieve all the expected Pro upgrades. This includes a higher resolution, RT, and improved image fidelity, all at 60fps. The most recent February 2025 trailer suggests an internal resolution of 576p-1080p DRS (1080p is far more often) and there's drops to around 35fps, but ToA's launch is around a year away leaving plenty of time for optimization. Using Pro footage for trailers so far from release does inspire confidence that it will get the optimization needed for a great 'enhanced mode'.
