While both base PS5 and Pro target 60fps and use the superior/more accurate hardware version of Lumen GI, Pro has many image quality improvements. Base PS5 internally renders between 1440p-1690p, but Pro targets a higher internal resolution. Pro also uses PSSR2 to upscale, which resolves a sharper, cleaner, and more stable image than base PS5's TSR, especially in motion. Finally, Pro has improved graphics settings like effects quality and higher particle density, which Fuse Games state will be particularly noticable during more explosive slow-mo crashes.
