During gameplay, Pro runs between 100-120fps (it regularly hits 120fps) depending on track/weather, but dips to around 90fps for brief moments on rare occasions. Base PS5 is only 75-95fps, with rare, brief times at 65fps and 100fps. Unfortunately, both consoles can look soft, with background assets like trees, railings, and stands exhibiting a lot of temporal instability and shimmer. This suggest a low internal resolution before upscaling to 4K, which makes sense considering the high framerates.
