Disclaimer: Like Requiem (and most other recent Resident Evil titles), Veronica is being developed internally by Capcom Division 1. It's also being led by the directors of the RE2/4 remakes, who have confirmed Veronica is also 3rd-person. These facts allow Requiem's default 3rd-person Leon gameplay (all tech info on the page) to provide an excellent baseline of expectations for Veronica's performance, especially as their releases will only be 1 year apart.
Base PS5 only has 1 mode - it's Pro's no RT/FSR1/120fps mode, but capped at 60fps. While all modes have the same 1116p internal resolution, PSSR2's upscaling in Pro's RT mode resolves a significantly sharper and more stable 4K-looking image. The FSR1 spatial upscaling in the other modes looks significantly more aliased in areas like hair, with more shimmering in assets like railings. Pro's RT mode also creates a far more realistic/natural looking image with more accurate shading due to RTGI, and although RT reflections can be somewhat noisy, its positives (more immersive horror sections etc) outweigh any drawbacks.
