Visually, base PS5 is 1260p-1440p DRS to 4K via FSR1. Pro's higher 1800p internal resolution and superior PSSR2 upscaling therefore resolves a sharper, cleaner, and more stable image. Improvements are especially seen in motion and in fine detail like character outlines where there's noticeably less edge breakup, though base PS5's image quality is still very good.
Fortunately, both consoles lock to 60fps in offline modes. However, both can briefly dip online due to Tōkon's rollback netcode and server latency. Stick to your server's region, prioritize connection speed, and reduce cross-play matches with PC (which is currently unoptimized) in matchmaking to mostly mitigate any drops.
