Disclaimer: As MR isn't whitelisted by Sony, it uses PSSR1 by default, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. While PSSR2 hasn't been tested with MR yet, Mark Cerny (PS5 architect) said Sony's broader testing found no issues in most titles. Only a few suffered from instability in sub-pixel light sources, with 99%+ of the game still improved. Community PSSR2 testing supports this, where at the very least, games are more stable, sharper, and remove PSSR1's film grain-like noise. Therefore, enable PSSR2 by activating 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' in PS5 system settings, and only revert back if there are major issues.
Base PS5 only has Lumen GI in its 60fps quality mode, whereas Pro also has Lumen Reflections. Pro's PSSR implementation renders a sharper image than possible on base PS5, but is also a bit noisier/unstable. Pro also not only hits 120fps in its HFR mode much more often than base PS5, which regularly dips to around 110fps, but does so at a higher resolution too.
