The biggest difference between Pro and base PS5 is the framerate. While Pro runs at a basically locked 60fps, base PS5 hovers in the low 50s and regularly dips below the 48fps VRR window. Both consoles output a 4K-like image, however both exhibit significant noise/instability in reflections which suggests a low internal resolution. Pro's internal resolution is likely slightly higher as its noise is a bit more stable, but any resolution differences are minimal - the framerate stability is the true game changer.
