Disclaimer: As Hellblade isn't whitelisted by Sony, it uses PSSR1 by default, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. While PSSR2 hasn't been tested with Hellblade yet, Mark Cerny (PS5 architect) said Sony's broader testing found no issues in most titles. Only a few suffered from instability in sub-pixel light sources, with 99%+ of the game still improved. Community PSSR2 testing supports this, where at the very least, games are more stable, sharper, and remove PSSR1's film grain-like noise. Therefore, enable PSSR2 by activating 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' in PS5 system settings, and only revert back if there are major issues.
Hellblade came to Series X in 2021 and had 3 modes - 4K/30fps with RT reflections (enrich visuals), 4K/60fps with no RT (resolution), and 1080p/120fps with no RT (performance). This is essentially what came to base PS5, meaning Pro is a big improvement in all modes - especially enrich visuals mode with its 2x framerate and introduction of RTAO. Pro can also use PSSR except in performance mode, which can improve some LOD quality, but the image is otherwise very similar.
