Performance pro mode arrived with the Endless Ragnarok expansion, but is also usable in the base game. It combines the 4K output of quality mode, with the 60fps of performance mode. Performance pro mode therefore makes these legacy modes redundant, especially as it even renders a slightly more stable image than quality mode. Though thankfully, all modes are essentially locked to their framerate target on Pro (base PS5 has the legacy modes, but its performance mode can suffer minor dips).
