Unlike base PS5, RT reflections are now available during gameplay. Its excellent implementation is far superior to the cube maps used when RT is disabled. Both TAA and PSSR are available for upscaling. RT is available with both except for cockpit mode, which is only PSSR. PSSR still looks great, but can can produce additional shimmer/noise in thin objects and artifacting on a few cars compared to TAA. All framerates are locked 99% of the time in gameplay, but replays can drop the framerate more often. Finally, Pro significantly improves motion clarity and image quality inside PSVR2.
