Instead, it caps its DRS to 1512p for a slightly more stable framerate than quality mode, which consistently looks the sharpest of the 3 modes due to its 1620p ceiling. However, no mode comes close to a stable 60fps, as they fall out of the VRR window in busier scenes and even fall to around 35fps in some cutscenes. Base PS5 shares these framerate issues, even though its quality and performance modes have lower internal resolutions at 1080p-1512p and around 1080p respectively.
